| David Oseland Chief Operating Officer & Executive Director
Dave is the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director of International Missions Alliance, the parent organization of Romanian Christian Television, with offices in Chicago, IL.
Having been raised in a Christian home and environment, Dave learned at an early age the significance of the Gospel and accepted Christ at an AWANA Christian camp at the age of 13. In subsequent years, Dave expressed an interest in all forms of media, and received much of his education at DeVry Institute of Technology and Elkins Institute, both in Chicago. After working at several secular radio and television stations in Chicago (WTAQ, WFMF, WEAW, and WCIU-TV), Dave felt called to service in the Christian media; he hosted a number of programs on WYCA in Chicago, then had a small part in the founding of Chicago’s pioneer Christian television station, WCFC-TV in 1976.
Dave served that television ministry in many capacities, initiating many new programming concepts in Christian broadcasting over the next 23 years, and last served as the station’s programming director. In 1989, he also co-founded, co-owned, and later served as general manager of radio station KADI in Springfield, MO. In 1998, Dave accepted a call to serve for one year as manager of Arctic Broadcasting (KICY AM/FM), a mission radio effort based in Nome, Alaska.
After arriving home from the Alaska commitment in 1999, Dave accepted a call to serve with the Moody Broadcasting Network in Chicago, and remained there until November of 2005. In December of 2005, Dave accepted a call to serve with International Missions Alliance.
Dave is married to Joyce Elizabeth, has two grown children, Eric Oseland and Amy Magnesson, and resides in north suburban Chicago. |
